rimfire4969
One of my favorites, I love it when they arrive. It has been a good summer for them around here, four broods so far this summer in our barn that normally we get two or three by the time they go for the winter. Underdog
I love hearing the willow warbler and chiffchaff, they herald the coming summer for me. Swallows and housemartins had a lousy year last year....this summer has been much kinder to them. The territorial call of the robin heralds autumn.....heard it this week all ready! U. thepasty
great birds, love to see them. My parents farm used to have loads but magpies got in there a few years back and took the lot, following year the same again until we had none nesting. I then got into shooting and this year they came back, my parents are really chuffed, when we milked my dad called them his "little friends". Its great to have them back.
