Hi Steve, I've got the 800IR, great bit of kit, I bought it as a kit with the clamp included. Only thing I have found is that it does not allow any fine movement and the beam can be slightly high.

Mine has the red led and also an IR one as well. It's annoying, because I have a clamp that came with my Cluson light. It can be adjusted in all directions, but is just not high enough off my scope, and most of the beam is hitting the back end of my T8 moderator.

I think I'll have to go up my shed and see what I can adapt to suit.

If you have a pillar drill, select a suitable bit of 2x2x1 wood, hole saw a suitable size hole for torch, cut across centre of hole to allow tightening onto torch. fit a spare scope mount to scope, cut a 2 inch bit of flat bar, grind to match dovetail and screw onto wood

Its cheap, effective and quick to mount

I'm looking to buy a bracket for my NiteMaster 800 torch to fit a 30mm scope. Does anyone know of a good, but not too expensive one that will suit?

Scan for '30mm picatinny rail' on eBay I got a scope mountable rail for my 6x44 then get a suitable set of picatinny type scope rings to attach your light it to the rail. I'll pm you the eBay links when I get home as I've no wi-fi or 3G at the minute.

B*gg*r... that is what I was looking at doing, great mind think alike. Mine is to use with my Ward D vision on Sako Quad .17HMR & 22LR and and Weirauch HW60 .222 CF.

Wonder if it I possible to raise it. Was it the Clulite bracket that takes any 25mm torch?
