hexty
Any one got any advice on eley pigeon 30g 6.5? Not sure on stopping power at range, and on game birds?
Whitebridges
For my money the Eley " Pigeon" range is the best pigeon branded shell there is. I know quite a few people who use them as their preferred game shooting shell and i've seen some cracking longer range kills made with them. I use the 32g through a S/A choked 1/2 for pigeon shooting and don't get many runners. It's quite a pokey load but I don't get bothered by recoil and prefer the slightly heavier 32g. Dominicrobed
I prefure gamebores clear pigeon 30g 6's or Gamebore pigeon extreme 34g 5's through a 1/4 choke but others will have their favourite. Shoot what's suits you and your gun , play around with a few carts then stick with what you like Regards Dom

activeviii
just a heads up, countrywide now do a bigger range, and, for once, cheaper than justcarts. in fact their price list is the same layout but 10% cheaper.
