Pinkella
Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a Hood for my Ford Ranger pickup, she is on the 61 plate. I'm being told Ifor Williams maybe?! Ill be running this baby into the ground, so I don't mind paying a bit more, but I was quoted £1000 when I got her from new, so I'm not expecting to pay that. Cheers guys and gals
kennett
Ifor Williams are good, can be a bit hard to get properly secure though but depends what you want to keep in it. I've got a hardtops direct top on my l200 and quite a few people I know have and they seem pretty good

al4x
Ifor Williams is ideal as they are light weight. Mine has 2 boat hatches in and is spot on, perfect for lamping yet very good for the dogs and with just the mesh back it doesn't get too hot
Gutty Boots
I've got one of those Tonneau Covers on top of the Ranger, gear can go under the cover or securely tied to the top. If it's just me & 1or 2 dogs then they sit in the front foot well. If carrying more dogs or guns I lift the Tonneau cover off, (not easy if it's windy though!) My brother had a high capacity top on his L200, but his work gear kept getting stolen from it. I think out of the two, the high capacity ones are more versatile, but don't leave anything valuable in the back.
