Hatsan o rings

2mm sounds right but 22mm is a bit tight. the I/d on my spares are approx. 24mm (o/d 28mm) Came new with the gun so must be Hatsan originals. Also they are brown not black. Does the colour tell you the spec of the rubber?

Thanks for this. I've done quite a bit of surfing and struggled to get a consistent view re size!

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

I can't help thinking a Call to Edgar Bros would supply a quick, accurate answer! :good:

Hmmm I can't help thinking "I shall do that"

Just looking for a quick answer and presumed somebody had replaced one as Hatsans are always breaking, jamming, blah!

Cheers I will let anyone interested know the Edgar Bros response.

Update, "the guy who would know is away until next Tuesday, you can call back then"

Great so no shooting that this week!

He also said you can't use o rings from a plumbers! They need to be made specifically for the gun.

Yes, I've ordered some 25mm ones from the Bay and am popping up town to see if the builders/plumber merchants have some other similar sizes to try!

I'm sure the E Bros ones are made just for Hatsan!!!

not sure about o rings in guns but o rings are different colours on machines because they are for different uses some water oil heat etc so best check before you put the wrong thing in

Right. I (think) the brown ones are made of a material called Viton. It does not go brittle when heated. The black ones are EDPM which does and may explain why some people have to keep changing them.

Mind you if the black ones are cheap and easy to get hold of & the others aren't then buy a load and just change them regularly.
