Lampwick
Hi folks am I correct in assuming my 3 1/2 inch chambered Hatsan uses 22 mm x 2 mm nitrile rubber o rings? Tracked some down on flea bay 25 for £2.65! Cheers
Lampwick
Anyone? I hope to order today. Cheers
poorpeet
2mm sounds right but 22mm is a bit tight. the I/d on my spares are approx. 24mm (o/d 28mm) Came new with the gun so must be Hatsan originals. Also they are brown not black. Does the colour tell you the spec of the rubber?

Lampwick
I can't help thinking a Call to Edgar Bros would supply a quick, accurate answer! Hmmm I can't help thinking "I shall do that" Just looking for a quick answer and presumed somebody had replaced one as Hatsans are always breaking, jamming, blah! Cheers I will let anyone interested know the Edgar Bros response.
Lampwick
Update, "the guy who would know is away until next Tuesday, you can call back then" Great so no shooting that this week! He also said you can't use o rings from a plumbers! They need to be made specifically for the gun. phaedra1106
Mine has black ones Original (2007) ones are 26mm OD and 1.9mm thick, Later (Mk2 I think) are 28mm OD and 1,9mm thick Never had one go, had the gun from new, over 7 years and about 9000 carts put through it. Lampwick
Don't you just love Edgar Bros, especially, YOU MUST BUY OURS AS NOTHING ELSE WORKS! Yes, I've ordered some 25mm ones from the Bay and am popping up town to see if the builders/plumber merchants have some other similar sizes to try! I'm sure the E Bros ones are made just for Hatsan!!!

poorpeet
Right. I (think) the brown ones are made of a material called Viton. It does not go brittle when heated. The black ones are EDPM which does and may explain why some people have to keep changing them. Mind you if the black ones are cheap and easy to get hold of & the others aren't then buy a load and just change them regularly.
Lampwick
Builders merchant 25mm x 2mm O rings worked a treat! And only 10p a piece!
