farmer
Meant to put this up a week ago. Well I decided to venture out one night when that wind was bending the trees double for a spot of long netting. Gave a couple of lads a ring just in case we had a good haul of bunnies . We only did 2 drops of the nets (300yds) started at 8pm and we were done and dusted at 9.30, just clean out the Rabbits that were for the table and job done 31 rabbits on the first drop and 11 on the second drop. This is all around large orchards surrounded by thick hedges that are near enough impossible to ferret effectivley. I cant put pictures up for some reason? Well done From the first post I thought it was a foggy night Excuse my ignorance, but reading between the lines you are saying is it best to go when the wind is blowing? No not foggy just my cr*p camera Yes it is best on windy nights and even better on dark moonless windy nights I did the same place in August 2 years ago the ground was a hard as rock and there was no wind at all but we still got about 50 then. .
