malkiserow
OK then Phil was a good chap as you say but now as you have not mown his rear lawn, he has gone up higher in my estimation

He wanted chequer but i only do stripes as i've got a small mower.

This is where it all gets confusing as I understood that he, being a top fella, took the moral high ground and declined your generous offer of hand scarifying and a re-seed

njc110381
He's alright I suppose. I was most grateful when he offered to take me out stalking yesterday. Until he shot a fallow miles from the car that is - guess who got roped into dragging the bloody thing for him? And bloody it was too - I've done neater grallochs with a chainsaw! On a positive note at least he didn't miss it (makes a change)! As you can probably tell, we see a lot of each other and enjoy the banter... Well at least I do! activeviii
Thank you NJC for all you did yesterday. throwing it down with rain and yet we waited. NJC knocked a ginger one over on the pens so happy days and then on last knocking a fallow was spotted on the boundy. cheers NJC for dragging it back. it was a rather long way. the gralloch was a mess as the whole front end took the trauma. not liking the interlocks but will try again on a better placed shot. on a side note, i have never missed the shot on a deer. there will be a first time mind. activeviii
Billy I have had a bit of a swap around so I have my one leupold on my 6.5 as I have just had it rebarreled. The 222 will have a photon for a while until I male my mind up and save up for another. Not sure what yet but njc has me thinking.
activeviii
Melk. Yes on the T3 6.5. Njc very Kindly gave up the stalk so I could knock one over with the new barrel. I will let him have the next one

I will let him have the next one I think it's worth pointing out that Phil has given more shots away on that ground than he's taken himself. I've shot as many deer there as he has, and I'm not the only one of our little group that he takes out. I only drag because just the stalk can be hard for him. Having pretty serious back problems is bad enough without attempting to drag a bloody fallow half way across Gloucestershire! At times just the walk is enough to put him out of action for several days after, so I figure as a relatively healthy and fit bloke it should be me who pulls the weight. It's a small price to pay for some great shooting and company. Anyway, enough of the compliments. He's still a ******!
malkiserow
Anyway, enough of the compliments. He's still a ******! I think it is unfair to highlight his irregular sexual inclination on a public forum....... Slightly hypocritical for an up-hill-gardener?
