Paul223
Are you saying that the bolt is springing open when you try to close it or just very loose
blueeyes
No Paul when i close the bolt it un cocks itself and will not fire went from very week firing to zer0 firing tks
Paul223
So on turning the bolt down the bolt stays closed but the firing pin returns to "fired"

snarepeg
Sounds like your sear is worn, it should cock on the bolt turn down, not on pulling bolt back. Remove the stock and watch the bent/sear engagement as you turn your bolt down. John
Underdog
Try and avoid dry firing it buddy. Not good for rimmies! Apart from the above what do you mean by weak firing. Light strikes or occasioal misfires?? U.

If so then yes a sear problem
saddler
have you done anything to the trigger lately?
blueeyes
Guys took the action out dismantled the trigger what i did notice was that one of the the two split pins that hold it had slipped out a tad tapped it back home and tried it now have cocking and firing (dry)and most important the safety works again so have put a touch of super glue on the pins, but will be ordering a new firing pin spring asap hope this has solved my problem and its another lesson learned for me thank you all for your input. Paul223
That'll be the trouble, I doubt there's much wrong with the spring
