stubby
back in December I treated myself to a 410 mossberg hushpower pump, had always wanted one after owner a few single shot hushpowers, well from then until Sunday gone it was nothing but hassle, it kept failing to extract fired carts, so you'd end up ejecting a live cart and clicking the trigger on an already spent cart, hoping this time it would eject, twice it went back to the gun shop, and twice it came back, the second time they told me that they had took it out and it cycled perfect so I tried again, this time getting an ex firearms officer friend to give it a try, just in case it was me that was causing the fault, he had the same results as me, so with no confidence in the gun anymore, I traded it back in with the shop, although I only got half its cost value, I didn't want to sell privately and its new owner be on my case about non ejecting, this way the shop can deal with it, as they say its OK bought myself a YILDIZ 410 SBS, good little guns Edited October 28, 2013 by stubby

Scully
Had the same problem with my .410 Mossberg 500. Failed to extract spent case at first attempt, but always managed on second. One RFD tried telling me I was pulling back on the fore-end in anticipation of racking the slide after the shot and that when he tried it it worked fine. So I loaded a shell and without touching the fore-end fired it, shell still wouldn't eject. Took it to another dealer who sent to the states for a new extractor bar and it works like a good un again now. Some dealers just can't be bothered. stubby
Why on earth give them another deal under these circumstances mainly because they wouldn't help me more with the pump, may sound silly to some, but my only other choices would have been 1, keep it and cover repair costs myself, on a brand new gun, no thank you 2, sell it to someone else and let them have the hassle? this way, they still have the hassle, as they will sell it on, and get it taken back as not extracting by the new owner, but for me, I have a gun now that works the way it should and know never to return to the said shop again, or ever recommend it to others

Not bad business being a greedy numpty. Name and shame pls
Paddy Galore!
i had a 12g mossy hushpower that used to unload itself if it was pumped pointing up that's half the trouble with hushpower, they never seem to modify a decent gun, all there guns are cheap carp made expensive by sticking a huge moderator on the end. stubby
Was the gun you bought in December a used one? nope, brand spanking new, which is what pee'd me off with the lack of after sales help, like they have your money, tough if it was secondhand I would have gone elsewhere
humperdingle
Surely consumer statutory rights come into effect? I'd have been contacting the manufacturer directly if the shop tried to fob me off.
