Chris Bb
I like Leatherman multi tools. The big ones are great and have many tools but can be heavy to lug around all day. Work out which tools you really want then choose, for example, do you really need two knife blades and/or a pair of scissors and/or multiple screwdrivers? eddoakley
Check out my sale adverts. I have a couple of different gerber multi tools. I use the "ultimate" and wouldnt be without it. Edd
rtaylor
Leatherman Wave for me. I wear it everyday, all the time. I use it everyday without fail. It's the only one I owned so I can't comment on the Gerbers but the Leatheman's have an excellent reputation for a reason.
smokinggun
My father in law has a leatherman multi tool, not sure what model its a full size thing, he was doing a light job and one side of the plier head broke off under not alot of stress, looking at the inside it looked like some cheap die cast metal, it was sent back with the guarantee and changed but put me off them. DNS
Agree re: Leatherman aftersales. I use a Juice C2 constantly. It basically fell to bits after a couple of years hard use and it was replaced by return of post. Anything can fail - it's how the supplier deals with that which sets it apart.
