pigeonblasterian
Get a decent pair of scissors to use if your knife is blunt.Thought it was funny the way you gutted the rabbit.
Frenchieboy
You really do need to sharpen your knife mate, there's nothing worse than a blunt knife! When gutting a rabbit if you start cutting the slit at the rib and cut downwards towards the back legs you are likely to find it a little easier and then just get your hand stuck in there rather than just shaking it around. I have to admit that your gutting technique is quite an improvement on your original attempt, keep at it and it will all fit together in time mate! Yes my Dad has asked me not to gut rabbits in the field for the time being so he can feed them to the ferrets. As its winter its worth doing but during the summer months the guts attract flies etc in to their run.
