Another hide question

In the field I want to decoy. It seems the best place Is near the middle. There seem to be flight lines and a specific area they like to feed.

Problem is there is no cover. The only thing is a dead tree with no branches the kinda thing you see vulchers on in Africa.

If a set up a hide there it would stick out like a sore thumb. Is it worth setting up a week before so the pigeons are used to it?

Pigeons react to movement so sit still in your hide and shoot the birds at a range you are comfortable with....

If you applied your theory they would never leave there roost as fields are full of objects you could class as a hide...with a man in it!

There was very little cover from this..... http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/245883-a-pole-with-a-veiw/

Good luck and sit still!!

Well. Some crows sit in it.

That the kinda thing I'm talking about. They are on clover. But great flight lines.
