farmerguy.22
Good luck Sam, They have been on the rape around here for gettin on for a month now but whenever you try to shoot the beggers they just fly over the field and on to the neighbouring rape! There must be about 500 acres of rape all within about a mile here!! We have about 150 acres alone on our 600 acre farm! Many farmers have put out gas bangers but even these end up being usless as the pigeons just get use to them! Have fun anyway!

the hitman
Went for a recce yesterday, nothing on OSR . Plenty pigeons feeding on hawthorn berries. Not even enough wind for a spot of roosting.
Catamong
One or two on the rape in the St Albans area, but many just picking up acorns under oak trees in rape fields, will be difficult to get at because this year there is so much being grown. It places a real premium on doing a thorough recce the day before. Cat.
