steve_b_wales
I have'nt used the Master lite supreme, but have used a Blaserlite 2 million cp lamp. I use it either as a hand held lamp or use the excellent scope mount . It's very lightweight and is very powerful. It will shine light at well over 400 yards. Highly recommended. toontastic
I've got a masterlite supreme, use it on .22rf for bunnies upto 60mtrs. I don't think it is worth using at 200 - 250. There are much better scope mounted lamps out there, and I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will be able to give better advice. wymberley
If you mean that you want a lamp to actually shoot with at the distances mentioned, then neither of the ones you mention are any where near the ball park let alone in the stands. What Steve says, or the Lightforce 170, or now for sheer performance, convenience and build quality, the NM 800/X Searcher. At the distances quoted, you need performance and as ever, it costs. toontastic
Just had a look at nm800 on google, it does look to be far superior to the masterlite supreme. Would be interested in knowing if anyone in northumberland used one as I'd be quite interested in seeing one in use.
steve_b_wales
The NM800 or Xsearcher (a better version) will give you ranges of well over 200 yards, using coloured l.e.d's. Using a white l.e.d. will give you a few more hundred yards on top.

Im not worried about spending more just has to be the right one. I have deben max at the moment and Its been fine but its 10 years old and time for a new one. is the nm800 really worth £180? steve_b_wales
The NM800 is excellent. Is it worth £180? I would'nt pay that much for one, despite the quality. I had mine via a friend in the USA, who sent me the Xsearcher torch, with spare neck, IR l.e.d. pressure switch and ex tube, all for a lot less than the UK price.Take a look at the Clulite Blaserlite that I mentioned previously. It's an excellent lamp which will more than suit your needs. I've had mine for many years and have not had any problems. http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/lazerlite-blazerlite-gun-lights/268-gl13-blazer-2-million-cp-gunlight-db-jp.html

The thing about Clulite is being UK made, every single piece is available for replacement and the scope mounts are superb.

As a pensioner I don't have money to burn but on the other hand I firmly believe in buying once and once only. I could afford the X Searcher as could my oppo (another old ***) and we're both well pleased; happy in the knowledge that we can safely see further than either of us are ever going to shoot. We both got the white and red LEDs but I then also got the yellow which just takes away the possibly excessive glare that the white has at shorter ranges and suits me better. The turbo version gives three power settings which at the reduced output should help with the rabbit. As ever, you pays your money and................
