Pretty Fox with Archer.

Had this pretty Fox last night with my Tikka T3 .22-250 and Archer Gen 3 NV set-up.

The Farmer told me he'd baited an area the night before-135 yards from his Sheep Shed and he'd also put out a Straw Bail at the end of the Shed for me to rest my rifle.

After a few hours talking and a few cuppas later we headed out through the Shed quietly and rested my rifle on the Bail.

I would say about an hour scanning a Fox came into view in the Field. He was quite a way from the bait but I just knew he was heading for his easy meal.I waited until he was on the bait and with him side on and with a safe backstop squeezed a shot off and the Norma 50gr V-Max bullet connected with this very fat and very pretty Fox.

I thought for a moment it may be a family pet cos it is in very good condition.Again a very happy Farmer!
