deershooter
The people who could only shoot with an auto safety can not be fully safe if you need to rely on help with your safety I have never relied on a safety catch the only safe gun is an unloaded and open one pointed in the correct direction . More people are dangerous on a clay ground with a gun with auto safety than a gun without, the amount of game shooters who do not regularly shoot clays and turn round in the safety cage abd say ops forgot the safety after trying to break the trigger is amazing Go for a 30inch sportier by one of the main makers by which I mean Berretta,Browning, mauroku Happy shooting Deershooter

pigeon-hunter
I have a 686 silver pig 1 sporting from new maybe dropped £100 If you look after them they hold there value well
Dekers
The thread is wondering as always, but decent guns looked after do not lose cash, my 686 Sporting Special, Silver Pig III and 391 are all currently worth more in cash figures than I paid for them new. But that ignores inflation!

Fatcatsplat
I shoot 32" barrels for clays, game and pigeons, just build your hide to suit. Yup! +
Harnser
A multi choke sporter and you have a gun for all seasons . Harnser.
blackbird
My advice would be a 30" Browning or Beretta multi choke sporter try & buy new & you have a gun that will be fine for game & clay shooting look after it will last you a lifetime.
