Dbw1shrops
There was a fair few in Shropshire today on the rape it was next door to my perm and they were dotted about in about four groups couldn't see a prominent flight line into the field and if there was it certainly weren't my side they were lining all the oak trees and just dropping in. I gave it a go from my side put about 8 flocked decoys out just to try them at first and managed to bag a couple then put one of them on the flapper had a couple more but it wasn't happening like it should of for the amount of birds that were the so put the magnet out with the hypas on and they came in lovely from all directions ! Bagged about 20 lost a few in the thick stuff behind me ( no dog !) should of been a lot more but my shooting wasn't up too much bit rusty plus I'm prob not the best shot out there lol but a good day was had ! Thoroughly enjoyed a bit of sport for a change. Dave

kaunda
Plenty of pigeons on my permissions( North Lincolnshire) but all in or under the oak trees or on hedges.Little evidence of any ground feeding other than on pastures in early morning. filzee
Hi I,m North Notts, havent seen a thing yet!! The ones I saw were in or around some trees between Lowdham and Burton Joyce. No idea who's land it is but there were a few hundred buzzing about.
