DaveH
Hi,I'm building up a small mountain of empties as I bought a 28 bore Yildiz for my teenage nephew to learn with. He's nearly 15 now and will move on to a light 12 or a 20 soon (the sooner the better, I've just seen the price of 28s ). We kept the empties (and boxes) as I was considering reloading but I don't really have the space or time. Are the empties worth anything to reloaders? Apologies if you've already read this on AGBBS.....CheersDave
Big Mat
You could probably get a couple of pennies each for them, new ones are 10p ea from claygame.
sitsinhedges
For what they are worth it might be best to just do a reloader a big favour by giving them away. What goes around generally comes around.

DaveH
At 15 he must be gagging to get hold of a twelve bore. Figgy The only thing he's gagging to get hold of is 15 year old girls . He's a bit of a beanpole at the moment, so I'm loath to move him on to a heavier gun too soon. I just revisited the c&g site and looked at reloading gear. Would love to tinker around with skeet loads, particularly steel, but I don't think I'll have the time. welshwarrior
I've never had issues giving my 28 bore empties away normal for a donation to charity for the postage.
DEADLY PLUMBER
My son is 16 he has used a 20 bore for the last few years. I think looking at him he also is a bit of a bean pole at the moment. I think he will probably be ready for a12 gauge at about 18. On clays he fires a 24 gram load and 28 gram load on pigeons and game.
