Your right guys life is too short , so I will apologize for my opinion that Beretta, Benelli and Remington autos are better than the Hatsan .

Of course dawntredder was correct when he pointed this out , so I am now going to start saving for one to replace the versamax .

So Merry Xmas dawntredder

Just a thought you two...have you sent each other Christmas cards. Chill out life's too short guys. Don't suppose you could call a truce just like they did on Christmas day in the first world war?

+ 2 life's too short :good:

As I have said Fenboy is not a gunsmith and he could be wrong, and it is nice that he has taken the French way out and surrendered.

But will he "Join the Turkish Army!"

You will be fine with some Mammoth 3 for duck and 1's for geese.

When asking a question on any site or in any meeting, you will always be smarter to go with the majority, thats why we have voting etc in this country, someone posted a question earlier on "which Dog" would be best to purchase for use on the "Marsh"...about 95% replied "labrador" but you had the "minority" of people advising to use Springers, cockers etc which of course would do the job but in the eyes of the Majority...the Lab came top's...dont forget a lot of very experienced "Wildfowlers" use this forum so on reflection, look at how many negative comments towards each auto have been placed, its then obvious which one "NOT" to choose!....if you dont like the possibillity of your gun jamming then go for a S/S or O/U..the auto only gives you an extra shot but how many times do you shoot 3 out of 3?...usually score a kill with the first or second shot and try to rush a hurried long shot with the 3rd and most times you "dont even get a shot"!!

best wishes...Dale.
