Conygree
Any advice please, should I go for a Anschutz 1417 or a CZ carbine in .22lr? any user thoughts as one is twice the price is the annie quality worth it, many thanks on any information. Frank
CZ, are some of the best rifles around for the money. They do exactly what the annie do and for mush less dosh. Frank.
Peter_HMR
Another vote for the CZ the annie will shoot that little bit better but for hunting will make no difference where talking small amounts which only matters for match shooting. Buy the CZ and enjoy all that money for a decent scope and lotsa ammo
Graham M
If I could have afforded it I would have bought an Anschutz 1712 absolutely beautiful rifles, and the trigger is just out of this world. G.M.
JRDS
I have had 3 x Anschutz and now have a CZ Silhouette 16 inch. Stick with the CZ just fit a Brook's kit, Anschutz are nice but not anywhere near the value of a CZ.
stevethevanman
have to go with the CZ on this one, because partly I own one, she shoots beuitifully is accurate and extreamly good for wabbit hunting, if you get one winny subs all the time good to 70yds 75+ if you are a good shot
luckytrigger
Another vote for the cz here.. I only use mine for hunting and its excellent.. Its the 16' sillouette and for the money i it cant be beaten imho.
Axe
I'd go with the Rolls Royce and say the Anshutz the other one is a Fiat Strada. ****, I can't find my tin hat.
poppythedog
CZ, spend the extra cash on a good scope.
invector
CZ every time!!
Peter_HMR
CZ costs €400 new Annie costs around €1100?? new So your paying €700 for a slightly smoother bolt, nicer trigger maybe a better finish Get a CZ run it in stick a brooks kit in or a timney if you want something fancy and enjoy the €700 And some CZ's shoot as good as annies and some better and all of them are not far behind. jcbruno
i have a CZ and A Anchutz 1416 and honestly their very close but their is something about a anchutz that is hard to replicate if you got the money buy the anchutz but if you buy a cz you will also be very happy good luck and happy shooting
Conygree
Many thanks to everbody for replying, at the moment I'm still awaiting my FAC I applied end of August, they lost it once. The last time I phoned they said it had been issued 8 Jan but there was another delay putting it in the post now 16Jan. I try to be positive and keep looking at different guns so I get it right, hopefully I do, thanks again. :yp:
Graham M
See if you can find a nice S/H Sako Finnfire. Should be able to pick one up for @ £375 G.M.
