shootgun
Can anyone recommend a good stock oil for day to day maintenance please? How do you treat your walnut gun stock after a day out in the rain? Thanks!

welshwarrior
Your better with a good wax day today and a good quality linseed based stock every 6-12 months depending how much you use your gun.
shootgun
I'm using my semi almost every week end, with a pause when i'm taking my O/U out for clays... Ordered some Phillips English Walnut Oil, what's the best method to use it?

figgy
Put a little dab of oil on your palm and rub it into the wood getting your hand warm from friction. Make sure you get all the wood but not the chequering covered with a very thin film as in just to say there and leave to cure. Figgy
