Brad93
Just got to say massive thanks to Sheila at rimfire magic. I paid for this trigger kit over the phone yesterday around 11'oclock and received it in the mail this morning! It has transformed the trigger on my 455, more than I expected! And all at a reasonable £14 delivered. Well recommended. Followed frenchieboys YouTube guide which was also very informative,

fruity
Yep middle spring dare I say it almost too light but I can't complainx Yes that's why I asked , it does feel a touch light but probably where I'm used to the original heavy trigger , soon get used to it Edited January 15, 2014 by fruity
team tractor
Can't fault them as she knew her stuff when I ordered mine before Xmas . It took minutes to fit and is so light I have to say the trigger isn't the best anyway ever after this compared to other rifles I've owned in the past but at least now I don't pull the shot. I fitted the middle spring
Brad93
Yes the trigger still isn't amazing but it is a very basic unit from the look of things. I have a BSA superten with a 2 stage match trigger, that is a nice trigger!
kent
Yes the trigger still isn't amazing but it is a very basic unit from the look of things. I have a BSA superten with a 2 stage match trigger, that is a nice trigger! The kit just releases some pressure I think its just springs and such? I don't do kits personally you see. The reason it don't feel perfect now is the two interconnecting parts have yet to wear to fit, when they do pull will further lighten up as will sear engagement in many cases- so be very aware and be prepared to re-fiddle. Do you know what weight its pulling now? If not find it and keep a careful watch out for any reductions as these are an indicator
activeviii
Yes that's why I asked , it does feel a touch light but probably where I'm used to the original heavy trigger , soon get used to it Can you tighten the square bolt that sits up against the spring. this adds a little more to the pull weight. If you had of brought your rifle over i would have dont it for you.lol i have the left overs of the kit here. i only used the first spring. no creep shim needed. Thank you that's a kind offer :)but I had the whole thing stripped at the time doing a few bits to it also I changed the little washer that fits on top of the bolt and fitted new spring seams to suit me fairly well A light trigger pull is my preference anyway
Dekers
Many CZ do not need the kit, but when you get a gun that does, I have to suggest they are the best £10-£15 you will ever spend on a rifle. I have had two Brooks kits historically, very happy with the results!
kent
Whatever the kit a proper trigger guy will sort it better and safer. I think they are a bad idea but only due to the guys that fit them not always understanding what they are actually doing besides getting a lighter release Edited January 15, 2014 by kent
Brad93
To be honest the gun was unusable without replacing the spring, I couldn't get it to group nicely even from a seated position with elbow rested on my knee. I only replaced with the middle spring so it's not its lightest, just been out and shot a few rounds at 60 yards, much closer grouping. Need to improve my technique now. Will be interesting to see what it can do off a bench or prone. Maybe one day I will look into getting the trigger done properly but I know of no gunsmiths local to me (south Essex).
