Thankyou for your help.

Dunkield
You can only post pictures directly into some sections of PW. For other sections you need to have the picture hosted remotely i.e. Photobucket etc

For other sections you need to have the picture hosted remotely i.e. Photobucket etc I didnt realise that, I am not really computer literate and have never used an external source I have only ever used irfanview and resized them. Is there a reason for the pics needing to be hosted remotely? I cant have used the sections that need that type of hosting. Dunkield
Is there a reason for the pics needing to be hosted remotely? Storage is the quick answer. There was a list at one time which you can/can't upload to, but it is obvious from the options in the reply box which are which.

Looks like its been pinned there , so I am now famous and no doubt my company range rover is on its way It's a very smart tutorial,I aim to use it.I did download that infanview,I regret not taking care to stop it taking over other things,It's changed my Google to Bing, and I keep getting extra webpages opening up when I don't want it to,on an already slow computer, but having said this, infanview does work.In future,I will try to reduce the size of a picture before I snap it,but I would prefer to get the best one available on my idiot camera,as it happens. It is a shame to reduce the size of the picture,I would rather reduce the pixel quality, but it's early days, and I appreciate all the help I have been given.
