If you have one in your van or youre refurbing a property or something please

Im looking for a s/h replacement, just the top part that you adjust/turn to vary the temperature,

Alternatively, I believe its possible to get a simple cap that can go on in place of the adjustable valve head to close the valve off.

The current one was donkeys years old and the plastic has just broken down and fallen apart, the valve itself is working fine I just need a new valve top so that I can screw it down to close off the valve, ( I believe its possible to get a simple cap that can go on in place of the adjustable valve head to close the valve off)

Cheers Jay,

Only thing worries me, are they a common size ?

Im only trying to save the bother and huge expense of having the system drained down so valve can be replaced since its a rental property and the landlord's a bit lax, (and the rent is cheaper than what it could be so dont wanna upset things)

If you pop into your local DIY store I think you will find that these valves come with a cap that shuts the valve off-its normally floating around in the box and can easily erm....fall out.

Why not just go and steal the whole thing? the offence is the same as is the criminal record

Jay,

Sorry not to have got back to you,

Been a bit of a nightmare day today,

I was out recovering a car and my sons school called to tell me they had called an ambulance as he'd fallen in PE and they thought he might have broken his arm

Got up the hospital to meet the ambulance and my son who although rather pale looking was rather drunk on the entinox

We've waited all day for him to be operated on to pin the two bones Only to be cancelled tonight at 6pm and told it'll be done tomorrow AM, he's happy now as he can have summat to eat & drink

Going back to the valve, It's a Honeywell valve ?
