hatsanmad
Can i ask is there any advantage to having a .20 compared to .22 or .177?
simon6ppc
nice shooting, you can't beat a good air rifle hunt, nice cal .20,some say its not as flat as a 177 and doesn't hit as hard as a 22.but every one to their own..
redcloud
Can i ask is there any advantage to having a .20 compared to .22 or .177? Slight advantage over the 22 due to the flatter flight of the pellet and hits harder than a 177 while retaining some of the penetration of the 177. 177 still has the flattest trejectory though. Theres less choice of pellets in .20 so that puts some off. For shooting in the field all callibres have a compramise somewhere so dont get too hung up on the best callibre debate just shoot what you enjoy is my thinking
Rimfireboy
Well done red, I prefer .20 to .22 at sub 12ft lbs, using lightweight .20's they fly fairly flat at around 700 fps.

Salop Matt
I can't wait to get my Aor Ranger one day! I've sold a lot of kit to go in the savings pot for it. Â Great bag, especially the Magpie, possibly my favorite air rifle quarry !
