Wookie
Just seen this fantastic remark by a local councillor. I know a lot of people in the area have similar views, but considering she got away with just "racial awareness" training, I think she did well. naddan28
I would not say the marks are at all racial. Somewhat innaproriate for a individual in her position but not racially motivated! In some ways its quite refreshing to see a councillor say something like that, at least a few of them are more representative of the public! On a side note, do people in such illegal settlements have to pay council tax?
Mungler
People warm to politicians who display human traits and humour. For example, I am not a great fan of Ken Livingstone, but I find him hugely entertaining and straightforwards - what you see is what you get. Good on Mrs. Roberts for telling it how it is. pin
If you tried bombing a "do as you likey" camp they would have the copper wire, batteries and anything else saleable out of the package and sold before it could go off anyway :look:
Pedro
Mungler, I saw him in the flesh at NSY the other day. What an unkempt creepy little man, put me right off him :look: P.
Highlander
On a side note, do people in such illegal settlements have to pay council tax? Council Tax??? NO or any other damn tax for that matter…bunch of bl**** freeloaders! Sad but this country has taken a very bad road when people cannot free talk without some little s**** from the thought police making a big thing of it! :look:
Lord Geordie
What is said in private should remain JUST that. Personally i fail to see a problem with her remark she is obviously a sarcastic woman with a great amount of wit. The remark was made in JEST as a humerous comment and simply taken the wrong way by some fanatical do gooder. She SHOULD have said she would Suicide bomb the DO gooders instead. THEN move on to the travelers LG
JohnGalway
"Wanna buy a chainsaw boss?" "No." "Just in from China Boss" "I can't read Chinese." "Ya don't need to know tha Boss" "Does it come with a guarentee then? Or a receipt?" Ahhhh the golden sound of silence... I'm probably a frothing racist as I didn't buy an obviously stolen chainsaw off that guy, just like I'll continue not to buy anything off them ever. Useless shower who don't deserve to have a perfectly good suicide bomber wasted upon them. Too many of them in my county, if ye want more just PM me I'll say the dole has gone up or something
digger
slightly off topic BUT : When I was a keeper some " travellers " intimidated one of the other beat keepers. Part and parcel of the job but they took it further saying they had folowed his daughter home from school. Made no secret of who they were and came into the village pub when we were in there to let him know in front of witnesess. He showed more restraint than the Pope and just supped his beer. What followed two days later involved some empty 25 lt drums, some petrol, a car battery and some wire and resulted in a very empty lay by. Now that took some guts but did the job. Oh, I missed out the spark plugs, simple but so effective. edited to add i dont condone his actions and have no idea how the above ingredients could be used
