chrisjpainter
Yeah, it depends if you're a fair weather creature of the day or not. Yesterday was the first time I saw rabbits out enjoying the sun, so if you're limited to day time shooting, march through to october are pretty easy times to shoot them. if you have a good night vision/lamping set up, then any time of the year, day or night. But they're most active during the day when there's some heat in the sun and the days start to get longer. That said, I live in the Thames Valley and our bunny populations have been hammered by the constant rain. here's hopin' things really start to pick up - I'm bored of only shooting in the dark! kent
Depends for pest control any time (preferably hard before they are well into the breeding, if you want to crop them for eating and sport just shoot winter time
Brad93
All weathers. They'll even sit out in the pouring rain the little blighters. I've shot them all year through, albeit in lower numbers

David M
I start again after they've had the bulk of their kits, around April onwards. I'd open up too many pregnant does this time of year ruining future dinner chances. Hopefully I can get enough in the freezer around October to see us through the Winter months, I do go out now and get the odd one though in amongst the Pigeons, rooks and magpies..... Dekers
June is almost always my highest rabbit bag month, but its a strange question, do you intent to wait until then to start?

Honestly, April ? I find milky does all through the summer into early autumn. Breeding is far from at a peak in April here in the Northern hills, I should say mid summer is peak
