A1Decoy
Hello,We have teamed up with FlightLine decoys and are proud to anounce the new animator for our Pro Flap decoys! JBS
I've got to be honest, I have no idea why anyone would buy that over a flapper with a dead bird?
A1Decoy
JBS, a good point! Others have raised it too, but we are getting a good reaction to the product with people who don’t bother keeping any dead birds, we deal with a surprising amount of shooters who use decoys only. Our turbo flapper is still our bestselling bit of kit we have ever made but it’s a preference choice really, different kit suits different shooters! Charlie_79
I agree with Oscar, I don't normally keep dead birds for the next trip out so something like this would be handy to start the day with
Crash72
Oscar on the ebay page there are different select options. Which one includes everything you need to start flapping?
motty
I know it won't matter to the pigeons, but surely the body could be made from a better decoy and not just a normal flock coated shell. It just looks a bit nasty to me.
aga man
It looks pretty good but perhaps a bit vunerable to damage in windy conditions.
Christopher Polumbos
You have get your 'I'm a Pigeon'.....head on. If you were up above this decoy, and saw the flashing of the wing bars, you would probably be fooled into thinking it was another of your kind on the crop, and investigate.... It's all about movement in your pattern, and this certainly gives that, This flapper can be set up in under 20 seconds, and plucked from the ground and moved somewhere else even quicker. It's great to get the ball rolling if you haven't any dead birds to put out, and when there's no wind, & your bouncer aint a'bounci'n, and the rotary isn't doing it's job, this could save the day. It will run all day on a 7amp 12v lead acid battery. wind has little , or no effect on the performance, in fact I've found it adds to the movement. While I like some sort of movement in my set up, it's not strictly necessary. I know one local shooter who only uses static dead birds and he regularly shoots three figure bags. Each to their own, what works for some doesn't neccessarily work for another, it just adds another string to you bow should you choose to use it. Corky68
Just checked it out on eBay-has any one else? Can't believe the prices. Dead birds and flapper for me!!!!
private pike
just a point of interest you have the wire that goes through the wings on the bottom side while in the instructions on your video on you tube they are on the top side
JBS
If we have no deads the magnet and flapper are just set up ready to go with nothing on them with a few shells out, first dead one goes on the flapper then two on the magnet and the shells can come in, IMO it's also at least twice the price it should be

masmiffy
Why not market a manual flapper like the old Wagbi Seamark one. Cost should be minimal as its just a frame and arms to operate the wings vial a string from the hide. Uses a dead bird which it totally natural. Gismos which require batteries are ok but you gotta carry the battery!!!!! The old manual one was light easy to use and no heavy battery!!! Wish I still had mine!!!!
