pigeon controller
Watching my resident flock of birds in the garden this morning and following my epic journey looking for pigeons this weekend I was pleased to see then tucking into the Beech buds which put my mind at rest as it was strange that we could not find them . The majority of the trees in our area are Oak and Ash, we have only two farms with any number of Beech trees . With the " Forest of Arden" being mainly Oak we had a massive acorn crop which has swelled my pigeon numbers over the past months . We will be looking at our clover and Beech trees thus weekend. Keep a look out in your areas for the Beech harvest.

DEADLY PLUMBER
In the last few weeks I've seen local birds pairing up. Cock birds fighting. Birds flying with twigs. Feeding a lot on buds. Some on drilling s but not in any numbers. The birds are in spring mode and the weather is all in their favour. Looking at the ground their are still edible acorns on the ground.
