littlerob Posted March 31, 2014 Report Share Posted March 31, 2014 have been shooting pigeons with a basic set up mod green and black netting and a cheap sand colour with oak and leaf patten light weight net with built in fiberglass rods got about 16 half shell plastic decoys cheap jack pyke sprig stick ones i passe out about 15 passes and put out decoys a passe apart in any random shape from my hide and get on quite well pigeons even landing in and feeding with the decoys when i have been having a tea and munch the problem i have is if i shoot a pigeon and leave it where is landed i don't get birds coming in and the second thing is if i put out dead birds with my decoys i don't get any thing come in to shoot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pigeon controller Posted March 31, 2014 Report Share Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) If you are leaving them where they land that is your killing area what you should do perhaps is put them on spikes on the edge of your pattern leaving the centre clear for the next victim.
