Mini T20ir

Can I ask if this IR from the T20 is the right wavelength for gen1 NV?

I Have a NV scope sat in the cupboard and currently use it with an IR Laser to increase the range and clarity. If these T20's are compatible and offer better illimunation I think I Will add one to my wish list!

Thanks

850nm is very hit and miss with Gen1, some respond some don't.

Best try one before you buy one - but the cheapest route is to get an IR drop-in module - or even just a brass pill to swap into your 501b that can do rather well now you have modified it, depending on the gen1 and the range you need from it..

I haven't seen one done like this one before I asked Ian to make it for me

Ian has been making 12v all the time as far as I am aware

it just depends on what people ask him to make I got a 66mm 12v ir with the pill slider & dimmer I do like that one

This is it all mounted

That's a neat setup.

One I did for torchwood (iirc) on nvf,I think he knocked up a spotter in a box with it plus a crt viewer from an old camcorder.

One with a rocker switch and 2.1 female socket.

Have done quite a few slidy's inc with dimmer, although tbh the dimmer is wasted in a torch that can be adjusted.
