digger
My shooting / ferreting/ fishing / drinking buddy had to put down his 19 yr old terrier today, a dog I have known for fiften years. She was a feisty little bitch, not a great lover of adults but a cracker with kids. A great ratting dog and in her day the only dog I would trust to mark a fox or rabbit hole and never be wrong. She loved being petted then getting in her bed, only to shoot across the kitchen floor to nip an ankle and be back in bed before I could tell her off. She saw off burglars when there were bigger dogs in the house that should have done the job and she would only ever fight anything if it was five times her size. Should know better at 39 but I cried my eyes out when I heard RIP Katie, mark me some good holes old girl
