fenman99
Went out yesterday afternoon to zero the 17hmr with the new night-sight. Bit windy really but was happy with the grouping at 100m. Came home for tea then waited till dark. Set out at 9pm, parked 5mins later on perm. Got kit out & started walking, 80yds from motor switch on for a scan round. Bingo a set of eyes lit up on the end of the cover crop, started squeaking & confirmed it was a fox on it came. It got to to about 80m & sat down. Bang one in the engine room stone dead dog fox, back indoors at 9.30pm. A good start with the new night-sight! fenman99

Yes mate it is a Photon. Lots to play with to get used to it. My mane reason for the purchase was to even up the odds, certainly did with the first shot in battle conditions. fenman99

I played around with the night-sight off the gun for a few weeks to get used to it. Pick out 4 fox's from bedroom window with a red beam 501 torch. Then got the Photon on them, played around with the settings before mounting on the gun. No chance of using the gun as i have houses on either side. Going out tomorrow night for a few hours on another perm. Let us know how you get on when you get out! fenman99

reggiegun
Well done mate, I'm thinking of getting a photon but the reviews seem to be 50/50 with some loving them and some hating them... Rich Rich, My mate Steve has a photon with a doubler on it, let me know if you want to look at it, but I tell you now, he has zero shift problems. Also without the doubler on its very hard to shoot rabbits at 70 yards as they look so small, being only 4x.(my eyes anyway) He has one on his HMR.
