I travel from Manchester to Leeds, Doncaster and Nottingham very regularly. I will also be in Mold next Sunday. steve_b_wales
Update. The six Elm trees are growing well. I found some oak trees growing in the garden where I work. They were coming up through gravel/chippings and were approx 3" tall. Now planted in pots. I have sent some saplings to a PW member. If anyone wants an Oak sapling, let me know. steve_b_wales
Well, a dozen of my Oak saplings have been sent out to 2 PW members. I hope they survive Royal Mail's gentle handling!
steve_b_wales
Well, I've just planted 60 'conkers' in pots. I have another 50+ but have run out of vessels to plant them in. I usually plant around 15-20 in a tub, and if and when they start to germinate, I transfer those into individual pots. Hopefully, I will be able to find something to plant the others in soon, and I'll have to sit back and wait to see if anything starts growing. Update: The elm seeds that I planted are really coming on. I have six trees which are around 15" high. I think they are growing too fast to be honest, but I shall wait and see.
