Gordon R
I bought a 3/4" socket set - 22mm up to 50mm - Bahco , plus a 55mm Elora - I think they are 22,24,27,30,32,36,38,41,46 and 50mm - and some big Elora combination spanners - up to 55mm - in with a job lot of other tools. Does anyone know what sizes Landrover use - any that large? If they don't use large bolts, I will offload them to a plant or HGV fitter. Gordon R
I have more Bahco than you can point a stick it - I have a dozen Bahco adjustables, plus a shedload of sockets and spanners. It is a subsidiary of Snap On. I just don't use anything larger than 32mm.

Gordon R
Paul - I bought them in with some other stuff, but this is what the seller valued them at:- £30 for the socket set - complete except for the ratchet and bar, but included sliding T socket, 2 x extensions and a case. I have now replaced that with a better quality Gedore ratchet and bar - which cost me another £30 - some time ago. The spanners were more of a bargain - he wanted £5 per spanner - four of them - 36mm, 41mm, 46mm and 55mm. The largest is vgc. The other three have marks. The 55mm spanner has an RRP of £358 - lord knows where they get their prices - you can buy them for less than half that, but it is silly money. I know the price of smaller tools, but large spanners / sockets go a bit silly. Edited May 26, 2014 by Gordon R
Pigeon sniper
The nut on the end of the crank is fairly large, think it was 36mm if I remember rightly, handy for when setting the tappets
Catweazle
Big sockets are useful for bike headstock and wheel nuts so maybe it's worth including some of those key words if you eBay them.
M4X
Nut holding the drop arm to the steering box, varies in size, some are 32mm some are 33mm (From memory) Keep the set, you just never know!
