kobidog
I have a semi auto 12 bore, Beretta a300 and was wondering if someone knows whether it would be possible to fit a non permanent silencer on it? I want to use it for lamping rabbits, noise is an issue and I don't have a .22 or .17hmr. I havent really heard of people using silenced shotguns other than hushpower .410s but don't see why it wouldn't be possible?

Berettacocker
Never heard of a removable silencer for a shotgun, but you can get the moderated hush powers in 12 gauge also. Supposed to be fairly quiet using sub-sonic shells, but never actually heard one myself. Good luck
walshie
Have a look here http://www.saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/Gunroom/SG_Hushpower.htm I have one of the removable ones on my 410. Says here they do ones for 12g. Give them a call. They are very knowledgable (they make them) and a friendly bunch to deal with.
bisondan
Apparently you have to go careful if fitting to a semi auto due to issues with gas and cycling, that's why most of them you see are either single-barrel, over/under, and pump-action.
