Blackpowder
Back from holidays on Saturday past and on Monday looked in at a pea field lying next to one of my best woods. I would reckon the crop had been sown for a week ansd where the machine had turned near the gate the ground was white with seed peas on the surface. Alas not a sign of the usual scratching and feathers which indicate the field is being used, nor were there any birds flighting near it or the three adjacent pea fields during the time I was watching.
