telf
well after much pondering and research and a previous thread on the mach 2,ive bought a sako quad synthetic with mach 2 barrel had the barrel cut to 16",got a dm80 mod, both curtousy of mr mercer, and what an excellent job he has done(thanks again dave) i was a bit concerned when i got the gun as the bolt felt a little tight and not so smooth and the trigger is only single stage, but i am used to the lovely 2 stage trigger and smoooooth bolt action of anschutz, anyway after the barrel had been cut and sent back i fitted it and took it out to zero, zeroed first at 38 yds to get it on paper, then out to 80 yds, nice tight 1/2" groups, and i must say the gun is a pleasure to shoot, the trigger is spot on,set to 2 point 4lb pull, and the bolt feels alot better than i thought when first tried it,probably get even smoother with use,so its a definite thumbs up for the gun now the little mach 2 round,i cant understand why this round has been ignored, its as flat as the hmr, quieter, cheaper to run at £16.50 a hundred and will do 150 yds + with ease,i took 2 bunnies at 120 and 130 yds ,yesterday both stone dead, and another 2 at 92 yds,on both occassions the other bunny just sat there didnt run off,and normally with my .22 soon as they here that thump of the lead hitting home, their off i still have and will keep both of my .22s,one is dedicated nv and the other which was my day gun which will now just be used near horses or noise sensitive areas, but the quad mach 2 is now the new day gun and what a belter it is one thing i may get done to the gun,in the future is the stock lengthened with a grind and fit rubber pad,as i find it a little short for me,but all in all i wouldnt hesitate to recommend the quad and the mach 2 round,i am really pleased with it and find it much better than the 2 hmrs i have had and sold Edited June 8, 2014 by telf

That is obviously a get rid of price, what other Eley can/could you get for that money?

telf
must be for 100,as winnies here are £8 a hundred or £35 if you buy 1000,i think bewsher500 was saying £26 for 4 x 50 boxes, which is £13 a hundred, might be wrong though
