rimfire4969
Out for a walk this morning along the coast path at about 9:00 am simply stunning. Perranporth beach taken in both directions from Droskyn Point. The water is so clear could be the Med.

poontang
Lovely pictures. We're very, very lucky with some of the coastline and countryside in the UK. Some of the best scenery in the world on our doorsteps.
WGD
Now that's not too shabby. I miss the coast, used to live close by but now about as far away as I can get. Still amidst some stunning scenery so shouldn't grumble.

flynny
Lovely pictures. We're very, very lucky with some of the coastline and countryside in the UK. Some of the best scenery in the world on our doorsteps. Never a truer word spoken mate, all within a short drive in any direction, some folk who live in for example Australia the USA and Russia etc, never ever sea a beach or the sea, especially if they live in the middle, I'm off up to Elgin in Scotland at the end of July can't bleddy wait.i also spend a lot of time on The sunny isle(Anglesey). Nowt better than a stroll along the beach as dawn breaks, Nice pics rimfire ( you jammy sod ha ha), Atb Flynny

rimfire4969
Is that north of your place the Rimfire? Or is that perranporth beach and I don't recognise it? It is Perranporth beach, take the small road from beach car park up past the Seiners Arms to the car park at the top Droskyn Point, photos taken from the cliff edge there. The water is as clear as I have seen it in a long while. If you look close at picture 2 by the red emergency buoy down to the right you can see a guy walking up the path, he had been in snorkeling around the point. It's also a nice fishing spot. mark@mbb
The only sea we have in Cheshire is a sea of green when the crops are ready and it looks just like wave as they move in the wind
