mrmints
As a company car user, I am struggling to think of a reason not to go for the PHEV, should save me almost £3000 a year not to mention savings on fuel. Anyone had a go in one?? Chris

mrmints
Yeah, I've ended up ordering one. It's roomy, four wheel drive and when you're saving that sort of money, it's going to have to be seriously pants for me to upset.
sambu13
Hi im trying to make this decision at the moment. I think it will save me £70 month (lower rate tax) over the Passat estate which is my other option. most of my mileage is in 100+ miles trips also the real world figures for MPG wont be a benefit. have you found any issues? im particularly interested in motorway driving and the sat nav which I really didn't get on with on the test drive. thanks
ferguson_tom
My stepmum just took delivery of hers and must say I am quite impressed. For a 35k book price though I would hope so!!! its a really nice car to drive and goes quite well only thing I found was off the mark it takes a second to think what it wants to do which can catch you out on roundabouts. Inside its pretty big I was one of 3 Adults in the back for a two hour journey and was comfortable. Even with the electric they are averaging 42mpg on a commute of fast single carriageway roads which to be honest is not great considering the cost. My thoughts are if buying it cash privately its not worth the money however with the company car tax benefits along with schemes government are offering employers it makes sense as a company motor. SimpleSimon
A good friend of mine is a Mitsubishi dealer (well, her family are) and she gave the wife and I a lift in their demo car when they were first new. Lovely car to be in, went like stink on the motorway, road holding and ride quality were excellent when it got twisty-turny, plenty of room, quiet ride, brilliant fuel economy. She said it was great from the driver's perspective as well and she wasn't trying to sell us one!
