I'm getting a remmy 700 sps tactical in .308 was told I would have it in 5 weeks when I ordered it and it's 9 weeks today! And it's still not even in the country yet! Annoyed is an under statement. And it's still not even in the country yet! Annoyed is an under statement. I'm waiting for a Marlin 1894 that I ordered 2 months ago. My local gun shop can't even tell me if that's in the country yet either. Even when it does get here it's got to go and get proofed. Anyone know how long that process takes? phaedra1106
Proofing can be same day to over a month. Edited June 29, 2014 by phaedra1106
Sco77w
Proofing can be same day to over a month. Thanks. I have my shotgun due back from the gun smith this coming week so that should tide me over until the new addition arrives. I've been without the shotgun for almost 3 months with it going to one guy who decided he couldn't do the work then to another that just left it stood on a rack for a month before starting work on it. Hopefully picking that up will give me that new gun feeling for a while.

joecash
I hope the OP has tried the gun for "fit" before buying - all guns are different, including new ones Edited June 30, 2014 by joecash
