kennym
Hi all some advice please I'm looking at fitting a pickatinny rail to a .243 tikka would you use a thread lock to secure the screws or not? Thanks kennym
welshwarrior
Yes I would easy to release if needed but a good back up if needed and you'll never know until it's to late.
Rem223
The only thing I would add is to make sure you use one of the low torque applications like 242 or 221. Some of the loctite products can be very tough to remove and you are only looking to prevent the screws coming loose, not glue them in permanently. figgy
I would use a thread tape or similar, some threadlock products are hell to get undone. Why not try it dry first, if you don't have a problem win win, if you do then look to fix. Figgy
