fse10
Well not long had a FIAS o/u thought to myself i'll take it clay bashing tomorrow, i know i'll change the brass bead for a hi-viz sight. Did this on my semi auto no problem gone to do the o/u snapped the bloody bead off .Now do i file it down & put a stick on one on it, try & drill it out & fit the one i have or spend more money & have a smith do it . Gordon R
Use a Dremel and grind it down. Then stick on a n Easyhit or, better and cheaper still, a Ruby sight.
Les*1066
The gunsmith option would probably save any further pain - except in the wallet department.
Gordon R
Avoid the drilling option - potential for disaster. Stick on is better - in my opinion - and a whole lot cheaper.
mick miller
Just don't bother with a bead at all. They're an utter waste of time if you ask me.

ChrisAsh
Most beads are just screwed in so any good gunsmith will remove the broken part in a couple of minutes
