It was light about 4 30 am on the holiday island of majorca last year. I was on the balcony sipping sangria and watching some mallard on a small inlet on the end of can picafort beach. Not going first week this year. Jet out to ibiza 5th sept with my waders pack for a few foam parties in playa den bossa.

I recon it will get light about the same time as it did last year if you were up and about ( ayano 1 2 or 3 )

back to ayano3 as it's wildfowling season lol

Evening ayano3..... Just came back from the marsh and things are pretty quiet at the moment like a summers evening , no duck on the move at all. When I went on the 1st morning I would get up at 4.15 have a cupa and leave mine about 4.40 as I live close to the marshes and I would normally hear the first shots around 5.00, now I haven't got much interest in early season duck. One thing I did see tonight was some small splashes of water after the recent heavy rains, so with a bit of luck I hope to get a Widgeon or two around the end of the month. Enjoy your time in Spain and I will be thinking of you when my tan is being washed off.

I will be early tomorrow but after the rush is over normality will resume.
