beesley121
Hi guys, bought a silver pigeon approx 18 months ago. Just noticed a bit of the weld had gone missing from the end of the barrels. It's only a small hole but if water gets down there, I've no way to clean it
Scully
It's soft solder, a couple of lads I know have had this happen to their Berettas. Your local RFD should be able to sort it.
Gordon R
As Scully says. I had this happen many years ago to an over and under. The side ribs were sound - just a little bit of solder missing at the end. I put some epoxy putty in the gap and used a permanent marker to colour it. You would never have known it was any different to the other side.
figgy
Same as Gordon R only with resin glue after I cut the barrels down on a sxs for my nephew removing the chokes. To be honest chemical metal or black metal sealant would sort it. Figgy Edited September 14, 2014 by figgy
kent
nothing to fret over, just fill it. before you do and I am sure all will be fine just give the barrels a quick ring just to check for detachment
Westward
A gunsmith resoldered mine 4 or 5 years ago for £20. Took about 15 minutes. Whatever you do don't leave it open to the elements.
beesley121
can I not get beretta to sort it
Gordon R
If you bought it new, it would depend on your guarantee. Beretta are not exactly lightning on warranty repairs in my experience. It would take you about 1 minute to fix.
