evo Posted September 18, 2014 Report Share Posted September 18, 2014 went out yesterday for a couple of hours with my shooting buddie, we decided to go to one of our old perms as the fields had been cut and where showing a few signs of crow and pigeon wanting to feed on them before they would be ploughed, we set up 100yrds away from each other and popped out half a dozen crows and 12 pigeons mixed between us, the reason we did this was because on entering the field to have a look about there was pigeons and crows feeding together so we decided to keep the pattern as natural as we could, after 10 mins they started to return in ones and two,s but kept us both busy, we ended up with 96 and 84 picked so was a cracking 4 hours sport,the best of it is the farmer who has the adjacent fields came over for a gab and has given us permission to shoot his land that has the pig farm on it and we have watched this land a couple of times and there is always crows about the pig farm so we are making a return trip on Tuesday to shoot the new perm one thing is for certain it seems a cracking place to shoot due to the pigs being there and at the moment everywhere is being prepared for the winter crops so happy days ahead, good job I,ve just ordered another 3000 carts off George lol, anyway here is a pic from Wednesdays day out atb Evo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
