Bungle The Bear
Just getting round to putting some serious shells through the mint MK 60 that i picked up - Just a quick question has anyone ever had the issue of a stiff top lever, you would almost think its catching at times - bear in mind this gun has had only around 250 shells through it - any thoughts ?? Westward
My MK60 did that and it got worse over time. If you operate the top lever with the barrels off chances are it will be silky smooth. The problem with mine was the locking bolt binding in the barrel bights due to scoring and galling on the underside of the bolt. Grease will fix it but only for 10 shots or so. It's a simple job for a gunsmith to sort out, most of them have done it plenty of times.
