malkiserow
A wonderful semi. I had one once, sold it to get a lighter maxus.
Boogie
I have one too. I was brought up believing over and under's were not the done thing never mind a semi auto, but I love it for pigeons, it puts a smile on my face - the AYA gets left in the cabinet. WelshAndy
I had the al390 st before my xtrema, fantastic gun super reliable. I paid £500 for mine and it was mint, the gun shop gave me the equivalent of £600 trade in on the xtrema ll.
a303
303 guts with a self adjusting gas valve. What's not to love. Cracking guns.
Simon123
okay, went to see this gun tonight and it was in a very good condition and beautifully balanced, but also noticed that it was AL390 (which i am lead to believe that it's lighter than the a390) There is a few things bugging me though - the owner is 88 years old and hasn't used it in a while so had forgotten how to use the features of the gun properly. i am a newbie to beretta semi autos (but i have an hatsan currently)- so stupid question - how do you get the bolt to stay back, leaving the chamber clear? http://picturearchive.gunauction.com/2563111637/8906546/a390%202.jpg_thumbnail1.jpg what is this lever/button on the side used for? IEH
There's a small button at the back of the carrier (front of the trigger guard). Press that and the bolt should stay back when cocked. I think the lever is for the magazine cut off but will leave it to others to confirm as it's a different design to my A303. WelshAndy
Silver mallard the button pressed in will lock the bolt back so you can empty the chamber for crossing fences etc safely
margun
I have and an A390, my dad bought it for me when I was a kid, after a few years I did a deal with a school mate and sold it (always regretted it). The chance to buy it back came up and it won't be going anywhere now. Super reliable, comfortable like old slippers and it handles any load you show it...brilliant gun! GingerCat
I have one and I'm a big fan of them, mine won't be going anywhere . The al version is slightly lighter but recoil is hardley felt in any case with most normal loads.
