Salop Matt
As above folks, Parents want to know what to get for me for Xmas and so does the wife. So am fancying a leather shotgun slip, my farther has a real nice one that he bought for £100 so am looking for something simlar if a little cheaper. Brown lether, good zip not a small/fine nylon thing, fold over end with buckle and a solid stop end rather than zip to the end. Ive found a few on on-line auction type sites for £65 but I have no idea of the quality of them so am after some recomenadtions please. Dakers
Managed to get a GDK one from fleabay for about £40 delivered, exactly as you describe. They have loads on auction continually, I was lucky finding one that ended up at a silly time of night so I could put a winning bid in last minute. shaun4860
Whereas I'm not a fan of GDK traps, their leather slips do look very good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEATHER-SHOTGUN-SLIP-SHOT-GUN-SLIP-PU-LEATHER-GUN-CASE-THICK-INNER-LINING-154pu-/301385423040?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item462bf898c0 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PU-LEATHER-SHOTGUN-SLIP-CHESTNUT-BROWN-SHOTGUN-CASE-BUCKLE-FLAP-ZIP-GDK311PU-/121157512586?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&var=&hash=item1c358ced8a Or if you have 2 guns http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHOICE-OF-3-DOUBLE-LEATHER-SHOTGUN-SLIPS-GUARDIAN-LEATHER-FOR-28-32-BARRELS-/300827217897?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&var=&hash=item460ab30fe9
spot.ontheroad
I bought one of these from John Freya: http://www.johnfreya.com/shop/4576000753/classic-leather-shotgun-slip-london-tan/5759031 But bought it from their ebay shop though. It's been fine so far. Nice finish. Good fittings. And plenty of room for a 32" barreled B725.
