pigeon controller
I had a call from the farm that we obtained permission to shoot on Saturday, he had some drilling that was just coming through and the birds were pulling it out. I was shattered as I'd been out longnetting last night and walked a few miles. Arrived at the field at about 11.00 , no birds , drove around and found them on a smaller field and set up with two birds from Saturday . The field was next to his rape and I was watching the pigeons going in on that field when I suddenly had about fifty crows above me , dropped two and they flew away. this seemed to be the pattern for the day as they would return in numbers and I would drop what I could . My shooting kept the rape clear of pigeons but I will have a look at it at a later date. I shot till 15.30 and picked up sixty four crows and jackdaws . text the picture to the farmer and he was pleased , Job Done!!!
